It’s the long weekend of the year. Christmas time! Twinkling lights and a party spirit. Christmas is for everybody and to celebrate we’ve put together a list of Christmas songs and tunes to play and movies to curl up to. Some of these movies go back all the way to the 40’s like The Shop Around the Corner  with Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan by Ernst Lubitsch - a sweet, funny tale from which the Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan starrer You’ve Got Mail was born. Try the original and allow yourself to be surprised and carried away into a whole other lovely world. Then there’s Die Hard with the to die for Alan Rickman as villain and that delectable line: "I am an exceptional thief Mrs. McClane and since I'm moving up to kidnapping, you should be more polite." Last but not least is the visual treat, In Bruges with Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes - a funny thriller that stay with you long after the credits roll.
Play List:
Sleigh Ride - Boston Pops  ( no Christmas is complete without this lush, busy, happy, merry composition.)
All I want For Xmas - Mariah Carey (We dare you to stay still).
Baby It’s Cold Outside - Megan Trainor
Baby Please Come Home - Mariah Carey
Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas - Frank Sinatra (nobody does it better than ol’ blue eyes).
Chestnuts - Ariana Grande/Liz Gilles
Winter Wonderland/Here Comes Santa Claus - Snoop Dogg/ Anna Kendrick (Yeah, Snoop Dogg does Xmas too.)
Santa Baby - Daniella Andrade
Let it Snow - Daniella Andrade
Movie List:
Batman Returns (if you think you’ve already watched it many times - na-uh, there’s no such thing)
